My name is Simone Bouyer, and I am honored and humbled to have been selected as the new Board President of HAVarts.
This new organization is embarking on a journey to celebrate the arts and foster a vibrant cultural community, and I am excited to assist in paving the way.
HAVarts is the creation of Jacquelyn Hayes, a friend and neighbor I have know since grade school. I am thrilled to work alongside her to expand access to the arts and enrich the lives of the community. As an avid art enthusiast with a diverse range of experience, I am passionate about the transformative power of the arts.
During my tenure, I plan to focus on strengthening our educational initiatives while enhancing our exhibition programming to showcase the works of talented, contemporary fine artists. We are also excited to make new connections with local businesses, schools, and other centers of learning to bring the arts to underserved youth. Through guided tours, hands-on workshops, and immersive gallery experiences, we will continue to cultivate a deeper appreciation for the arts and its ability to inspire, challenge, and unite us.
The arts have the unique power to transcend boundaries, bridge divides, and foster a greater understanding of the human experience. I am confident that, together, we can elevate the role of art in our community and ensure that HAVarts programs will continue to astonish and educate for generations to come.
